Abergorwel is where the horizon meets the sea- in the land of the setting sun(s). It features many of the iconic scenes that may be familar to visitors to Aberystwyth, the pier, the sunsets, Ceredigion bay being cwtshed by Penllyn to the north and Pembrokeshire in the south. If you look hard enough you will spot lines from the iconic and beautiful poem “Gorwel” by Dewi Emrys and maybe just maybe you will hear the lazy squawk of a seagull, contented after a day of scavenging chips from careless tourists. The card features a cropped image with the full image visible in miniature on the back of the card.
